Princess Alexa and her brother Prince Alexander live in a castle in the fairytale beautiful country of Alexandra. Her dad King Alex and her mom Queen Alexis loves them dearly and have decided to build them a playground within the palace grounds.
The construction of the playground has been completed and Princess Alexa could not wait to go and play. From her palace window she could see the people working on the playground but she could not see what the playground looked like for the King as ordered the workers to put up a high wall around the playground as not to disturb the important people who regularly came to visit the King and Queen.
This morning the workers started to remove the wall for the construction has been completed. Princess Alexa and Prince Alexander were kept busy in the eastern wing of the palace while the wall is being removed. The Queen has planned a surprise party for the opening of the playground and did not want Princess Alexa and Prince Alexander to see the playground before the party.
Princess Alexa could not wait and it took a lot of effort of the palace staff to keep her away from the playground for see often tried to slip away to have a sneak preview of the playground. Once see managed to the tip a tall slide peaking out above the trees between the palace and the playground.
At about 2 o’clock in the afternoon the Queen came to fetch Princess Alexa and Prince Alexander. They walked across the lush green lawns of the palace until they reached a door in a hedge. The queen opened the door and waved the princess and prince through the door.
Princess Alexa gasp for breath and Prince Alexander jumped from the ground when a sudden call of surprise echoed from both sides of them. The queen has invited all of their friends. They have hid in the bushes and now came out pouring into the opening in front of them.
Walking forward they could see the tables loaded with party treats. As they walked past the tables the new playground appears in front of them. There were slides, merry-go-rounds and jumping castles.
One of the staff members shouted playtime and all of the kids rushed off to go and play and started to climb, run and roll all over the playground. Prince Alexander could not wait and run off to join the other kids.
Princess Alexa stopped for a moment and looked at the Queen and the King who have came from the palace and now stands next to the Queen. Princess Alexa jump forward and gave the King and Queen a big hug. With a cheerful thank you and big smile on her face se turned around and rushed off to join her friends.
