Designed for kids
The PowerspeaK12 courses have not adapted from other adult based second language packages but have been developed from the start to teach kids a second language. This is important for adults have compartmentalised our brains which inhibits our ability to learn a language like the native people do. Kids have not yet developed the “compartments” and are open to learn the second language in a natural way. PowerspeaK12 has been developed to capitalise on this natural method of learning to maximise the ability for the kid to learn the second language.

Elementary School Levels 1-2
PowerspeaK12 uses highly visual and amusing stories and activities which encourages the students to tell stories themselves. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of listening and reading skills, while providing a solid foundation for building students’ capacity for speaking and writing.
Middle School Levels 1-2
PowerSpeak12 turns adventures and activities into fun lessons in grammar and vocabulary. Emphasises are given on listening comprehension, oral production, reading, writing, and cultural awareness are all in accordance with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
High School Levels I, II, III, and AP
PowerspeaK12 students are taken through a rigorous, captivating, journey of language learning with continuing emphasis on listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Vocabulary and grammar topics are introduced and reinforced in an ongoing adventure story and supporting activities. Lessons and activities of the specific culture are included in the course to complete the learning experience.
